Inspection Programs

An aircraft’s inspection program is essential to maintaining your aircraft in an airworthy condition and kept to its optimum operational capability. This is not just for safety but also for reliability and regulatory purposes. The type of inspection program you use must be suitable to your type of operation, aircraft complexity, and additional modifications (such as STC’s) that you incorporate.
Aircraft Inspection Programs come in several forms, all of which have their specific purpose:
- Annual Inspection
- 100-hour Inspection
- Progressive Inspection
- Manufacturer’s Recommended Inspection Program
- Approved Inspection Program
- Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program
Our solutions include the following:
Program selection advice
We can help you choose the program that is right for your operation and aircraft type. This is especially beneficial at the time you purchase a new or used aircraft.
Customized inspection program authoring
We can author an inspection program based on manufacturer’s guidance to comply with inspections based on your aircraft utilization and desired inspection down time frequencies.
Customized task card authoring
We can author customized task card procedures based on the instructions for continued airworthiness provided in STC’s, alterations, or operator specific manual requirements. Task cards can be as simple or complex as you desire and have your company logo on them.
Inspection checklist authoring
Some manufacturers do not provide checklists or tallies to inventory the tasks which are required to be performed during a particular inspection. We can author customized checklists to ensure you have a complete list of what is to be done.
Bridging Inspections
Bridging is especially important when it comes to used aircraft that were maintained under one type of program and the new owner wants to maintain it under a different program type or a more current version of the inspection requirements. Task frequencies may have been different under the old program, or in some cases, tasks may not have been performed at all because the previous program did not include the latest inspections. We can design a special bridging inspection which transitions the aircraft from the previous operator to you.
Auditing your existing program
Checking your existing program against the data applicable to your unique aircraft type and configuration can identify opportunities for improvements and also gaps which may exist in your current program. We can provide a complete list of recommendations for you to implement or revise your program accordingly.
