frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Quality Control and Quality Assurance?
Many times, we are asked, “what is the difference between Quality Control and Quality Assurance?”. The answer is quite simple. Quality Control are your “flashlight and mirror” checks to verify that maintenance and inspections are performed according to the published data and to the required technical standards. Quality Assurance is the regulatory compliance check of your operation by auditing your documentation, inspection programs, airworthiness directives, and maintenance tracking.
I have a tracking system, so why do I need your services?
Tracking systems show what you have to do, when to do it, and the last time it was done. This is great. However, we have found that tracking systems can have incorrect information logged. This may be due to many factors such as operator error, next due, or even inaccurate or incomplete compliance statements. We can review your tracking system to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
Are your services expensive?
We offer flexible and cost-effective solutions based on your individual needs. Since almost all our services can be done in a virtual setting, we eliminate many of the additional travel and on-site costs associated with traditional auditing practices.
Do you offer virtual meetings?
Absolutely! In the post-COVID world, virtual meetings have become a safe and cost-effective way of conducting business globally. We can arrange our consultations through many virtual meeting platforms to suit your needs.
Is my information kept private and confidential?
Yes! We have partnered with Citrix ShareFile which provides bank level data encryption in a cloud setting so all your information is kept secure.
Do you offer services only for FAA registered operators?
While most of what you see in our website refers primarily to FAA regulations, we do offer services to operators of aircraft around the world.
I lease an aircraft and need to return it to the lessor in the near future. How can you help me?
Returning an aircraft from lease to the lessor can be a very intensive task. There are many status reports and audits of your equipment and inspections to verify that the aircraft meets the return expectations. We can assist you by doing all the tedious reviews of your maintenance records and prepare all the necessary status reports to satisfy the lessor.
I’m an aircraft operator and have difficulty understanding the required actions in an Airworthiness Directive. Can you help?
Yes. We offer an airworthiness directive advisory service to help you determine the applicability and necessary actions to comply with an airworthiness directive. We can also monitor the airworthiness directives for your specific aircraft model and notify you of new directives and actions that you may need to take to ensure compliance. We can tailor a service to meet your specific needs based on your aircraft type.
